Simple answers for NZ households

Your bin day questions, answered.

When is my bin day?

Choose your council and find your address where live lookup is supported. Bin Day shows the next collection date without making you search through a council calendar.

What bin goes out this week?

See whether rubbish, recycling, glass, food scraps or a custom bin goes out next, along with the weekday and date.

Can I set my own collection schedule?

Yes. Use a manual weekly, fortnightly or four-weekly schedule when council lookup is unavailable or your collection is privately operated.

Built for the real weekly routine
