Recipe Keepsake Privacy Policy

Overview

Recipe Keepsake is designed to keep your personal recipe collection private and useful. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Recipe Data You Add

Recipe Keepsake stores the recipes, photos, PDFs, screenshots, notes, categories, tags, shopping lists, and original files that you choose to add to the app.

On-Device Storage and iCloud Sync

Your recipe collection is stored on your device. If iCloud is enabled, your recipes may sync through your private iCloud account so they are available on your iPhone and iPad. Recipe Keepsake does not operate a separate account system for your recipe vault.

AI Features

When you use AI features such as Scan & Clean, recipe generation, shopping-list assistance, or recipe scaling, the recipe text or prompt you provide may be sent to an AI processing service to generate the result. Only use AI features with recipe content you are comfortable processing this way.

Photos, Camera, and Files

The app may ask for access to your camera, photo library, or files so you can import recipes and save original sources. Recipe Keepsake uses this access only for the actions you request inside the app.

Purchases

Recipe Keepsake Pro purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. The app may check your App Store entitlement to unlock Pro features.

Analytics and Tracking

Recipe Keepsake does not require a third-party tracking account to use the core recipe vault. If analytics are added in future versions, this policy will be updated to explain what is collected and why.

Support Emails

If you contact support, we will receive the information you choose to include in your email, such as your device model, app version, and a description of the issue.

Children's Privacy

Recipe Keepsake is a general household recipe app and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when Recipe Keepsake changes. The latest version will be posted on this page.
